Administrative/Marketing Assistant

Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned Administrative/Marketing Assistant that has an extensive background in marketing and in managing an office of a company in the service industry. This individual will be creative, reliable and resourceful, who has a great work ethic, who is career-minded and has exceptional organizational and communication skills. This person must be able to follow direct instructions and have excellent typing and dictation skills. We are only seeking applicants with experience in the marketing and service industry who is a highly efficient, highly motivated, self-directed, resourceful, results oriented person, who is also easy-going.

Administrative/Marketing Assistant
Ideal Candidate Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Extensive one-on-one collaboration with the owner both in person and by phone.
  2. Extensive experience in marketing, customer service, scheduling customer appointments, composing and editing professional client emails, with a focus on proper grammar and punctuation.
  3. Creating email marketing campaigns and email blasts.
  4. Maintaining home services website reviews such as Angie’s List, Yelp, BBB, etc.
  5. Maintain company’s web presence by creating awesome content (multimedia marketing and general narratives)
  6. Talented with, and experienced in, Photoshop and other photo editing programs.
  7. Experienced in the daily use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe.
  8. Creation of miscellaneous print media such as flyers, brochures, and ads.
  9. IT Proficient - ability to maintain and add client records.
  10. Ability to nurture ongoing relationships with clients to ensure solid retention each year.

To be considered for this position, qualified applicant must have the following:

  1. 3+ years of prior experience in the service and marketing industry.
  2. Strong command of the English language.
  3. Ability to work alone with little to no supervision in a small office.
  4. Ability to perform internet research and data entry
  5. Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
  6. Must be skilled at writing promotional materials and developing newsletter content.
  7. Must be skilled at persuasive marketing.
  8. Light sales experience is a must.
  9. Must have great communication skills, be creative and resourceful, with a great work ethic.
  10. Must have excellent typing, grammar and dictation skills.
